The story of Wokamon takes place in a galaxy far away on planet Laya, where Wokamons used to live happily with their friends, the Layabots. They cooperated to convert the Layabots' activity into an energy source for the Wokamons. Unfortunately, the Layabots became lazy and stopped moving, which made the Wokamons weak and sorrowful. To help the Wokamons regain their strength, the Wokamon elders decided to send some young and brave Wokamons to planet Earth so they could harness energy from the human race and embark on their adventure.

Power consumption may vary depending on the iPhone model (4/4S/5/5C). Wokamon necessitates background location (GPS) for its built-in pedometer. Although efforts have been made to minimize power consumption, be aware that continued use of GPS in the background can significantly decrease battery life.
